In early summer of 2005, we decided that our
300-year old historic shopping district in
Albuquerque, New Mexico-- appropriately called Old
Town--was in sore need of a canine respite station
for the weary shopping dogs (and their people), as
well as a watering hole for the local "hood dogs"
(and their people). After three long months, the
extra large watering dish was ceremoniously placed
out on the stoop, the pooper scooper was
strategically placed in the garden and the doors
were finally thrown open to all dogs (and their
people) on August 1, 2005.
Come on down and take a "paws" in The Dawg House.
Take home a delicious, healthy treat, a new collar
or a fun and different toy or dog dish for your
furry family members. We even have doggy sun
glasses and strollers for those dogs on the go!
Visit with a couple of hot dawgs on the beautiful,
brick patio while doing a little shopping, eating and
drinking in Albuquerque's famous historic Old Town
district. You'll be doggone glad that you did!!
